The Endless Shear Bench is built from a single 12-foot solid oak plank, pushing the limits of standard lumber sizing. Its exaggerated length and offset leg placement create a sense of visual tension, suggesting movement and imbalance while the form remains grounded and physically stable. The sheared legs create shifting visual angles, giving the bench a different profile from every viewpoint. Handcrafted in our Brooklyn studio.

Built from a continuous solid oak plank and joined using traditional doweling methods occasionally utilizing a dumbell shaped butterfly joint where needed to prevent splitting. The proportions create structural strength while preserving a minimal footprint. Natural variations in wood tone and grain are to be expected. Suitable for indoor use.

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Place on an even surface to maintain alignment and prevent warping. Over time, the wood may develop subtle shifts in tone with use.
